::July/August Contest - Something Old, Something New...

It's the middle of the year and the perfect time for tidying those things that didn't get sorted in my last spring clean. Guess what I found? Copies of my first ever published book! STRICTLY BUSINESS is a contemporary romance published in 2000 by an Australian press, before I started writing for Harlequin Mills and Boon. Seeing it brought back memories of that wonderful day when I received news that my first ever manuscript was going into print. STRICTLY BUSINESS is something of a collector's item now as the publisher was small and few copies ever made it out of Australia. It made me wonder how much my writing has changed since then and also about the books on my 'keeper' shelf. Some of them have been there for years, yet they still have something special about them.

What books do you have on your keeper shelf? I love to hear about other readers' favourite reads. So here's the question for my next online contest:

Which romance(s) would you never clear out in a spring clean and what makes it (them) so special to you?
